Fred Perry X MEYBA

When 2 Legendary Sporting Brands come together its always something special and this Fred Perry X MEYBA Collaboration is no different. Whilst the 2 brands heritages lie in different sports (Fred Perry in Tennis and MEYBA in Football) it seems like this collab is a match made in heaven.

At it's core this collection is about celebrating both football heritage and British sub culture all wrapped up in an ode to classic sportswear. MEYBA are a Spanish heritage brand known mostly for making the football kits for FC Barcelona back in the 80's and 90's and you can see the inspiration from that within this collection. The old school style collars and the bold, colour blocking stripes scream vintage football jerseys.

And then you've got the track tops. Following that vintage styling with a boxier, shorter shape and again with that nod to football with the details along the arms. The track top is definitely a stand out...

With a release on April 10th this collection is sure to not sit around for long, especially with the ongoing football fashion revival, not to mention the upcoming World Cup (It's coming home). The timing for this one is absolutely perfect.
